Tyro EFTPOS machines support popular payment cards and some alternative payment options including:

- Visa debit and credit cards, including via Apple Pay / Google Pay / Samsung Pay
- MasterCard debit and credit cards, including via Apple Pay / Google Pay / Samsung Pay
- American Express cards, including via Apple Pay / Google Pay / Samsung Pay
- Diners Club cards
- JCB cards
- UnionPay cards
- AliPay


This includes support for common payment transactions like:

- Purchase (sale)
- Cancel (void)
- Refund


Note that some payment types may require specific enablement by Tyro.

EFTPOS is supported for all health professions - including those who may not use claiming functions.
